Easy to use tool for making presentations.

ClassDojo

This looks to be an interesting application that could be useful. It's primary use is for assigning and tracking merit points for good and bad behaviour. It also has tools for messaging parents individually or as a group. I'm not sure whether parents have to be logged into the portal to get the messages or if they get pushed through some other message. 

There is a Web component that you access through the Browser and then a mobile app. The two are linked together and in some cases the app casts to the Web desktop which will be useful if the desktop is connected to a projector. 

The other features of the app and desktop include

• attendance tracking
• randomly selecting a student
• Create random groups
• Starting a timer
• Displaying a sound meter (Interesting but would be much better if it gave a specific level.
• Play some background music (only two choices)
• Create and display some simple steps to follow
• Put instructions for think-pair-share

The app appears to work well and should be fairly easy to use from a cell phone or tablet while working with the class away from the main computer.
